Rules in England
Labelling law for supplements from Crowle
Any food supplement sold from Crowle must meet the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003, overseen by the Food Standards Agency. At a local level, food labelling is enforced by the local authority’s trading standards or environmental health officers for Worcestershire.
The same label can be sold in Scotland and Wales, since the supplement rules are the same across Great Britain.
A good first step is our label requirements checklist, and then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.

Can you print batch codes and dates?
We can. Variable data printing adds a batch code and date to each run, so there’s no need for a coder on short runs.
How long does delivery to Crowle take?
Usually the next working day after dispatch. We print in 3 to 5 working days after you approve the proof, so the majority of Crowle orders arrive within about a week of sending artwork.
Can I see a sample before ordering?
Yes. Ask for a sample pack and we’ll post it to your Crowle address, so you can feel the materials and finishes before you order.
