Questions from Dalgety Bay brands
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Dalgety Bay?
Dalgety Bay is in Scotland, so the Food Supplements (Scotland) Regulations 2003 apply, alongside the general food information rules. Health claims must come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
Do I need to be based in Dalgety Bay to order?
No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so your location doesn’t matter. Dalgety Bay orders go out by tracked delivery to KY11.
Is there a minimum order?
There’s no fixed minimum. Small runs from 250 labels are common for new products, and you can combine several designs in one order.
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We can check for both. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must work for that market. Let us know where your products go and we’ll check the label for each market.
Do you add batch numbers and best-before dates?
We can. Our digital press adds a different batch and date to each run, so there’s no need for a coder on short runs.
