FAQs for Deri
How long does delivery to Deri take?
Usually the next working day after dispatch. Printing takes 3 to 5 working days from proof approval, so the majority of Deri orders arrive about a week after you send artwork.
Who checks supplement labels in Caerphilly?
Supplement labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Caerphilly, overseen nationally by the Food Standards Agency in Wales. If you want assured advice, you can set up a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
Can you print batch codes and dates?
Yes. Variable data printing adds a batch code and date to each run, so there’s no need for a coder on short runs.
Do you only work with Deri businesses?
No. We work online and deliver across the UK, so your location doesn’t matter. Deri deliveries go out by tracked delivery to CF81.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Deri?
Deri is in Wales, so the Food Supplements (Wales) Regulations 2003 cover your label, alongside the general food information rules. Health claims have to come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.

Rules in Wales
Labelling law for supplements from Deri
Products you sell from Deri must meet the Food Supplements (Wales) Regulations 2003, overseen by the Food Standards Agency in Wales. At a local level, food labelling is enforced by the council’s trading standards or environmental health team.
Welsh-language text is optional on supplement labels. If you add it, both languages must be accurate and the mandatory text must still meet the 1.2 mm minimum x-height.
A good first step is our label requirements checklist, and then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.
