Questions from Devitts Green brands
What if I sell in Northern Ireland too?
We check against both sets of rules. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Let us know where your products go and we’ll cover both.
Which material is best for a protein tub?
Laminated white PP. It copes with powder, moisture and handling, and stays put on curved plastic.
What’s the smallest run you print?
There’s no fixed minimum. Short runs from 250 labels are common for new products, and you can mix several designs in one order.
Do you only work with Devitts Green businesses?
No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so your location doesn’t matter. Devitts Green orders go out by tracked courier to CV7.
Do you send samples?
Yes, we can. Ask for a sample pack and we’ll send it to you in Devitts Green, so you can feel the materials and finishes before you order.
Rules in England
Supplement labelling rules for Devitts Green
Products you sell from Devitts Green must meet the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003, under the oversight of the Food Standards Agency. Locally, food labelling is enforced by council trading standards or environmental health staff.
You can sell the same label in Scotland and Wales, because the supplement rules match across Great Britain.
A good first step is our label requirements checklist, then review your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.
