Rules in England
Supplement labelling rules for Escrick
Any food supplement sold from Escrick must meet the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003, under the oversight of the Food Standards Agency. At a local level, food labelling is enforced by council trading standards or environmental health staff.
You can sell the same label in Scotland and Wales, since the supplement rules are the same across Great Britain.
Start with our label requirements checklist, and then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.

Common questions in Escrick
What’s the smallest run you print?
There’s no fixed minimum. Many new brands start with 250 labels, and you can mix several designs in one order.
Do you only work with Escrick businesses?
No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so your location doesn’t matter. Escrick orders go out by tracked courier to YO19.
When will my labels arrive in Escrick?
Usually the next working day after dispatch. We print in 3 to 5 working days after you approve the proof, so most Escrick orders arrive within about a week of sending artwork.
Can you print batch codes and dates?
We can. Our digital press adds a batch code and date to each run, so you don’t need a separate coder for short runs.
Can I see a sample before ordering?
Yes, we can. Request a sample pack and we’ll send it to you in Escrick, so you can feel the materials and finishes.
