Rules in England
Supplement labelling rules for Evington
Any food supplement sold from Evington must meet the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003, under the oversight of the Food Standards Agency. Locally, food labelling is enforced by council trading standards or environmental health staff.
The same label can be sold in Scotland and Wales, since the supplement rules are the same across Great Britain.
A good first step is our label requirements checklist, then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.

Questions from Evington brands
Do you add batch numbers and best-before dates?
Yes. Our digital press adds a batch code and date to each run, so there’s no need for a coder on short runs.
What label suits a powder tub?
White polypropylene with a laminate. It copes with powder, moisture and handling, and doesn’t lift on a curved tub.
Do I need to be based in Evington to order?
No. We work online and deliver across the UK, so your location doesn’t matter. Evington deliveries go out by tracked courier to GL19.
Do you send samples?
Yes. Ask for a sample pack and we’ll post it to your Evington address, so you can feel the materials and finishes.
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We check against both sets of rules. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must work for that market. Tell us where you sell and we’ll cover both.
