Questions from Fernhill brands
Do I need to be based in Fernhill to order?
No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so your location doesn’t matter. Fernhill orders go out by tracked delivery to RH6.
Do you add batch numbers and best-before dates?
We can. Our digital press adds a different batch and date to each run, so there’s no need for a coder on short runs.
Who enforces food labelling in Surrey?
Food labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Surrey, overseen nationally by the Food Standards Agency. For advice councils must respect, you can set up a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
How long does delivery to Fernhill take?
Usually the next working day after dispatch. We print in 3 to 5 working days from proof approval, so the majority of Fernhill orders arrive within about a week of sending artwork.
Is there a minimum order?
No fixed minimum. Many new brands start with 250 labels, and you can combine several designs in one order.
