Questions from Fordyce brands
Do you add batch numbers and best-before dates?
We can. Variable data printing adds a different batch and date to each run, so you don’t need a separate coder for short runs.
Do I need to be based in Fordyce to order?
No. We work online and deliver across the UK, so your location doesn’t matter. Fordyce orders go by tracked delivery to AB45.
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We can check for both. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Tell us where you sell and we’ll cover both.
When will my labels arrive in Fordyce?
Usually two working days after dispatch. Printing takes 3 to 5 working days after you approve the proof, so most Fordyce orders arrive within about a week of sending artwork.
Can I see a sample before ordering?
Yes, we can. Request a sample pack and we’ll send it to you in Fordyce, so you can feel the materials and finishes before you order.
Rules in Scotland
Labelling law for supplements from Fordyce
Products you sell from Fordyce must meet the Food Supplements (Scotland) Regulations 2003, regulated nationally by Food Standards Scotland. In Aberdeenshire, food labelling is enforced by council trading standards or environmental health staff.
Scotland has its own food regulator, but the supplement labelling rules match England and Wales, so one label works across Great Britain.
Start with our label requirements checklist, then review your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.
