FAQs for Formby
What label suits a powder tub?
Laminated white PP. It copes with powder, moisture and handling, and stays put on curved plastic.
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We can check for both. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Let us know where your products go and we’ll cover both.
How long does delivery to Formby take?
Usually the next working day after dispatch. We print in 3 to 5 working days after you approve the proof, so most Formby orders arrive within about a week of sending artwork.
Who enforces food labelling in Sefton?
Food labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Sefton, with national oversight from the Food Standards Agency. For advice councils must respect, you can set up a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
Is there a minimum order?
There’s no fixed minimum. Small runs from 250 labels are common for new products, and you can mix several designs in one order.
