Rules in Wales
Label rules that apply in Gellifor
Any food supplement sold from Gellifor must meet the Food Supplements (Wales) Regulations 2003, overseen by the Food Standards Agency in Wales. At a local level, food labelling is enforced by council trading standards or environmental health staff for Denbighshire.
Welsh-language text is optional on supplement labels. If you add it, both languages must be accurate and the mandatory text must still meet the 1.2 mm minimum x-height.
A good first step is our label requirements checklist, then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.

Questions from Gellifor brands
Can I see a sample before ordering?
Yes, we can. Request a sample pack and we’ll post it to your Gellifor address, showing our materials and finishes before you order.
Can you print batch codes and dates?
We can. Variable data printing adds a different batch and date to each run, so you don’t need a separate coder for short runs.
When will my labels arrive in Gellifor?
Usually the next working day after dispatch. Printing takes 3 to 5 working days after you approve the proof, so the majority of Gellifor orders arrive within about a week of sending artwork.
