Greta Bridge questions
Do you send samples?
Yes, we can. Ask for a sample pack and we’ll send it to you in Greta Bridge, so you can feel the materials and finishes.
Do you add batch numbers and best-before dates?
We can. Our digital press adds a different batch and date to each run, so there’s no need for a coder on short runs.
Who checks supplement labels in County Durham?
Supplement labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for County Durham, overseen nationally by the Food Standards Agency. For advice councils must respect, you can set up a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
What if I sell in Northern Ireland too?
We check against both sets of rules. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must work for that market. Tell us where you sell and we’ll check the label for each market.
What label suits a powder tub?
Laminated white PP. It stands up to powder, moisture and handling, and stays put on curved plastic.
