Questions from Haddington brands
How long does delivery to Haddington take?
Usually the next working day after dispatch. Printing takes 3 to 5 working days after you approve the proof, so the majority of Haddington orders arrive within about a week of sending artwork.
Do you only work with Haddington businesses?
No. We work online and deliver across the UK, so it makes no difference where you’re based. Haddington deliveries go out by tracked delivery to EH41.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Haddington?
Haddington is in Scotland, so the Food Supplements (Scotland) Regulations 2003 cover your label, alongside the general food information rules. Health claims must come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
Do you add batch numbers and best-before dates?
Yes. Our digital press adds a different batch and date to each run, so you don’t need a separate coder for short runs.
What if I sell in Northern Ireland too?
We can check for both. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Tell us where you sell and we’ll check the label for each market.

Rules in Scotland
Labelling law for supplements from Haddington
Any food supplement sold from Haddington must meet the Food Supplements (Scotland) Regulations 2003, overseen by Food Standards Scotland. At a local level, food labelling is enforced by the council’s trading standards or environmental health team.
Scotland has its own food regulator, but the supplement labelling rules match England and Wales, so one label works across Great Britain.
A good first step is our label requirements checklist, and then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.
