Rules in Scotland
Label rules that apply in Harrapul
Products you sell from Harrapul must meet the Food Supplements (Scotland) Regulations 2003, under the oversight of Food Standards Scotland. Locally, food labelling is enforced by the council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Highland.
Scotland has its own food regulator, but the supplement labelling rules match England and Wales, so one label works across Great Britain.
Begin with our label requirements checklist, then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.

Questions from Harrapul brands
How long does delivery to Harrapul take?
Usually two working days after dispatch. We print in 3 to 5 working days from proof approval, so the majority of Harrapul orders arrive within about a week of sending artwork.
What label suits a powder tub?
Laminated white PP. It stands up to powder, moisture and handling, and stays put on curved plastic.
Do you only work with Harrapul businesses?
No. We work online and deliver across the UK, so your location doesn’t matter. Harrapul orders go out by tracked delivery to IV49.
What if I sell in Northern Ireland too?
We can check for both. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Tell us where you sell and we’ll cover both.
Do you send samples?
Yes. Request a sample pack and we’ll post it to your Harrapul address, showing our materials and finishes.
