Questions from Highstreet brands
Do I need to be based in Highstreet to order?
No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so your location doesn’t matter. Highstreet orders go by tracked delivery to ME13.
Who enforces food labelling in Kent?
Food labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Kent, with national oversight from the Food Standards Agency. If you want assured advice, you can set up a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
What’s the smallest run you print?
No fixed minimum. Small runs from 250 labels are common for new products, and you can mix several designs in one order.
Do you add batch numbers and best-before dates?
Yes. Variable data printing adds a batch code and date to each run, so you don’t need a separate coder for short runs.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Highstreet?
Highstreet is in England, so the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003 apply, together with the general food information rules. Health claims have to come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
