You don’t need a printer down the road. Send your artwork and we’ll check it, send a to-size proof within about a working day, and print once you approve it. Labels are printed digitally on white or clear PP, paper or metallic film, finished in gloss, matt, soft-touch or foil, from 250 labels per design. Rules in England
Label rules that apply in Histon
Products you sell from Histon must meet the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003, regulated nationally by the Food Standards Agency. Locally, food labelling is enforced by the local authority’s trading standards or environmental health officers for Cambridgeshire.
One label works across England, Scotland and Wales, because the supplement rules match across Great Britain.
Start with our label requirements checklist, then review your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.

Histon questions
How long does delivery to Histon take?
Usually the next working day after dispatch. We print in 3 to 5 working days after you approve the proof, so most Histon orders arrive about a week after you send artwork.
Is there a minimum order?
No fixed minimum. Many new brands start with 250 labels, and you can combine several designs in one order.
Can I see a sample before ordering?
Yes. Request a sample pack and we’ll post it to your Histon address, so you can feel the materials and finishes before you order.
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We check against both sets of rules. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Let us know where your products go and we’ll check the label for each market.
Who checks supplement labels in Cambridgeshire?
Food labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Cambridgeshire, overseen nationally by the Food Standards Agency. For advice councils must respect, you can set up a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
