Hitchin questions
Do you only work with Hitchin businesses?
No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so it makes no difference where you’re based. Hitchin orders go out by tracked delivery to SG4.
How long does delivery to Hitchin take?
Usually the next working day after dispatch. Printing takes 3 to 5 working days from proof approval, so the majority of Hitchin orders arrive within about a week of sending artwork.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Hitchin?
Hitchin is in England, so the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003 cover your label, alongside the general food information rules. Health claims have to come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
Can you print batch codes and dates?
Yes. Variable data printing adds a different batch and date to each run, so you don’t need a separate coder for short runs.
Which material is best for a protein tub?
Laminated white PP. It copes with powder, moisture and handling, and doesn’t lift on a curved tub.
