Houndscroft questions
Do you add batch numbers and best-before dates?
Yes. Our digital press adds a different batch and date to each run, so there’s no need for a coder on short runs.
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We can check for both. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Tell us where you sell and we’ll check the label for each market.
Do you only work with Houndscroft businesses?
No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so it makes no difference where you’re based. Houndscroft deliveries go by tracked delivery to GL5.
What label suits a powder tub?
White polypropylene with a laminate. It stands up to powder, moisture and handling, and stays put on curved plastic.
How long does delivery to Houndscroft take?
Usually the next working day after dispatch. Printing takes 3 to 5 working days after you approve the proof, so the majority of Houndscroft orders arrive within about a week of sending artwork.
