Questions from Lanjeth brands
Who enforces food labelling in Cornwall?
Food labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Cornwall, with national oversight from the Food Standards Agency. If you want assured advice, consider a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
Which material is best for a protein tub?
Laminated white PP. It stands up to powder, moisture and handling, and stays put on curved plastic.
When will my labels arrive in Lanjeth?
Usually the next working day after dispatch. Printing takes 3 to 5 working days after you approve the proof, so most Lanjeth orders arrive about a week after you send artwork.
Is there a minimum order?
There’s no fixed minimum. Short runs from 250 labels are common for new products, and you can combine several designs in one order.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Lanjeth?
Lanjeth is in England, so the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003 apply, alongside the general food information rules. Health claims have to come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
