Common questions in Letchworth
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We can check for both. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Tell us where you sell and we’ll check the label for each market.
Can I see a sample before ordering?
Yes. Ask for a sample pack and we’ll post it to your Letchworth address, so you can feel the materials and finishes before you order.
What’s the smallest run you print?
No fixed minimum. Short runs from 250 labels are common for new products, and you can combine several designs in one order.
Who checks supplement labels in Hertfordshire?
Supplement labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Hertfordshire, overseen nationally by the Food Standards Agency. For advice councils must respect, you can set up a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
Do you add batch numbers and best-before dates?
Yes. Variable data printing adds a different batch and date to each run, so you don’t need a separate coder for short runs.
