Lickey questions
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Lickey?
Lickey is in England, so the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003 cover your label, as well as the general food information rules. Health claims have to come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
Which material is best for a protein tub?
Laminated white PP. It stands up to powder, moisture and handling, and doesn’t lift on a curved tub.
Can I see a sample before ordering?
Yes, we can. Ask for a sample pack and we’ll send it to you in Lickey, showing our materials and finishes.
Who enforces food labelling in Birmingham?
Food labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Birmingham, overseen nationally by the Food Standards Agency. For advice councils must respect, you can set up a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
Is there a minimum order?
There’s no fixed minimum. Small runs from 250 labels are common for new products, and you can mix several designs in one order.
