Common questions in Linfit
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Linfit?
Linfit is in England, so the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003 cover your label, together with the general food information rules. Health claims have to come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
What’s the smallest run you print?
There’s no fixed minimum. Short runs from 250 labels are common for new products, and you can combine several designs in one order.
Who checks supplement labels in Kirklees?
Food labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Kirklees, with national oversight from the Food Standards Agency. If you want assured advice, consider a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
How long does delivery to Linfit take?
Usually the next working day after dispatch. Printing takes 3 to 5 working days after you approve the proof, so most Linfit orders arrive about a week after you send artwork.
What if I sell in Northern Ireland too?
We check against both sets of rules. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must work for that market. Tell us where you sell and we’ll check the label for each market.
