FAQs for Lizard
Who checks supplement labels in Cornwall?
Food labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Cornwall, overseen nationally by the Food Standards Agency. If you want assured advice, you can set up a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
Do you send samples?
Yes. Ask for a sample pack and we’ll post it to your Lizard address, so you can feel the materials and finishes.
Do you only work with Lizard businesses?
No. We work online and deliver across the UK, so your location doesn’t matter. Lizard deliveries go by tracked courier to TR12.
When will my labels arrive in Lizard?
Usually the next working day after dispatch. Printing takes 3 to 5 working days from proof approval, so most Lizard orders arrive about a week after you send artwork.
What if I sell in Northern Ireland too?
We check against both sets of rules. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must work for that market. Tell us where you sell and we’ll cover both.
