Label rules that apply in Llansteffan
Products you sell from Llansteffan must meet the Food Supplements (Wales) Regulations 2003, overseen by the Food Standards Agency in Wales. In Carmarthenshire, food labelling is enforced by the local authority’s trading standards or environmental health officers for Carmarthenshire.
Welsh-language text is optional on supplement labels. If you add it, both languages must be accurate and the mandatory text must still meet the 1.2 mm minimum x-height.
Begin with our label requirements checklist, then review your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.

Common questions in Llansteffan
Do you only work with Llansteffan businesses?
No. We work online and deliver across the UK, so it makes no difference where you’re based. Llansteffan deliveries go out by tracked courier to SA33.
How long does delivery to Llansteffan take?
Usually the next working day after dispatch. We print in 3 to 5 working days from proof approval, so the majority of Llansteffan orders arrive about a week after you send artwork.
Do you add batch numbers and best-before dates?
We can. Our digital press adds a different batch and date to each run, so you don’t need a separate coder for short runs.
What if I sell in Northern Ireland too?
We check against both sets of rules. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Let us know where your products go and we’ll cover both.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Llansteffan?
Llansteffan is in Wales, so the Food Supplements (Wales) Regulations 2003 cover your label, alongside the general food information rules. Health claims have to come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
