Long Preston questions
What label suits a powder tub?
White polypropylene with a laminate. It copes with powder, moisture and handling, and doesn’t lift on a curved tub.
What if I sell in Northern Ireland too?
We can check for both. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must work for that market. Let us know where your products go and we’ll check the label for each market.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Long Preston?
Long Preston is in England, so the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003 apply, as well as the general food information rules. Health claims have to come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
When will my labels arrive in Long Preston?
Usually the next working day after dispatch. Printing takes 3 to 5 working days after you approve the proof, so most Long Preston orders arrive about a week after you send artwork.
Who enforces food labelling in North Yorkshire?
Supplement labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for North Yorkshire, with national oversight from the Food Standards Agency. If you want assured advice, you can set up a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
