FAQs for Longhoughton
What if I sell in Northern Ireland too?
We check against both sets of rules. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must work for that market. Tell us where you sell and we’ll check the label for each market.
Who enforces food labelling in Northumberland?
Supplement labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Northumberland, overseen nationally by the Food Standards Agency. For advice councils must respect, you can set up a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
Can I see a sample before ordering?
Yes, we can. Request a sample pack and we’ll send it to you in Longhoughton, showing our materials and finishes before you order.
Do you add batch numbers and best-before dates?
Yes. Variable data printing adds a different batch and date to each run, so you don’t need a separate coder for short runs.
How long does delivery to Longhoughton take?
Usually the next working day after dispatch. We print in 3 to 5 working days after you approve the proof, so the majority of Longhoughton orders arrive within about a week of sending artwork.
