Common questions in Milnathort
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We check against both sets of rules. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Tell us where you sell and we’ll check the label for each market.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Milnathort?
Milnathort is in Scotland, so the Food Supplements (Scotland) Regulations 2003 apply, as well as the general food information rules. Health claims have to come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
Do you only work with Milnathort businesses?
No. We work online and deliver across the UK, so it makes no difference where you’re based. Milnathort deliveries go out by tracked courier to KY13.
Can I see a sample before ordering?
Yes, we can. Ask for a sample pack and we’ll post it to your Milnathort address, so you can feel the materials and finishes before you order.
When will my labels arrive in Milnathort?
Usually the next working day after dispatch. We print in 3 to 5 working days after you approve the proof, so the majority of Milnathort orders arrive about a week after you send artwork.

Rules in Scotland
Label rules that apply in Milnathort
Supplements sold from Milnathort must meet the Food Supplements (Scotland) Regulations 2003, regulated nationally by Food Standards Scotland. Locally, food labelling is enforced by the council’s trading standards or environmental health team.
Scotland has its own food regulator, but the supplement labelling rules match England and Wales, so one label works across Great Britain.
Start with our label requirements checklist, and then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.
