Common questions in Nassington
Who checks supplement labels in Northamptonshire?
Food labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Northamptonshire, overseen nationally by the Food Standards Agency. For advice councils must respect, you can set up a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
Is there a minimum order?
There’s no fixed minimum. Small runs from 250 labels are common for new products, and you can mix several designs in one order.
Do you add batch numbers and best-before dates?
Yes. Our digital press adds a batch code and date to each run, so you don’t need a separate coder for short runs.
Do you only work with Nassington businesses?
No. We work online and deliver across the UK, so it makes no difference where you’re based. Nassington deliveries go by tracked delivery to PE8.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Nassington?
Nassington is in England, so the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003 cover your label, together with the general food information rules. Health claims must come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
