FAQs for Nether Compton
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Nether Compton?
Nether Compton is in England, so the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003 cover your label, together with the general food information rules. Health claims must come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
Do you send samples?
Yes. Ask for a sample pack and we’ll post it to your Nether Compton address, showing our materials and finishes.
What if I sell in Northern Ireland too?
We check against both sets of rules. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must work for that market. Let us know where your products go and we’ll check the label for each market.
Do you only work with Nether Compton businesses?
No. We work online and deliver across the UK, so it makes no difference where you’re based. Nether Compton deliveries go by tracked courier to DT9.
Can you print batch codes and dates?
Yes. Variable data printing adds a batch code and date to each run, so there’s no need for a coder on short runs.

Supplements sold from Nether Compton must meet the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003, under the oversight of the Food Standards Agency. Locally, food labelling is enforced by council trading standards or environmental health staff for Dorset.
You can sell the same label in Scotland and Wales, as Great Britain shares one set of supplement rules.
A good first step is our label requirements checklist, and then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.
