FAQs for Newby
Do I need to be based in Newby to order?
No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so it makes no difference where you’re based. Newby orders go by tracked courier to TS8.
What if I sell in Northern Ireland too?
We check against both sets of rules. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must work for that market. Tell us where you sell and we’ll check the label for each market.
When will my labels arrive in Newby?
Usually the next working day after dispatch. Printing takes 3 to 5 working days after you approve the proof, so the majority of Newby orders arrive about a week after you send artwork.
What label suits a powder tub?
Laminated white PP. It stands up to powder, moisture and handling, and stays put on curved plastic.
Can you print batch codes and dates?
We can. Our digital press adds a batch code and date to each run, so there’s no need for a coder on short runs.

Supplement labelling rules for Newby
Products you sell from Newby must meet the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003, regulated nationally by the Food Standards Agency. In Middlesbrough, food labelling is enforced by council trading standards or environmental health staff.
The same label can be sold in Scotland and Wales, since the supplement rules are the same across Great Britain.
Start with our label requirements checklist, then review your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.
