Newtoft questions
Is there a minimum order?
No fixed minimum. Many new brands start with 250 labels, and you can combine several designs in one order.
How long does delivery to Newtoft take?
Usually the next working day after dispatch. Printing takes 3 to 5 working days after you approve the proof, so the majority of Newtoft orders arrive within about a week of sending artwork.
Do you send samples?
Yes, we can. Request a sample pack and we’ll post it to your Newtoft address, showing our materials and finishes before you order.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Newtoft?
Newtoft is in England, so the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003 cover your label, as well as the general food information rules. Health claims have to come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
Can you print batch codes and dates?
We can. Our digital press adds a different batch and date to each run, so you don’t need a separate coder for short runs.

Rules in England
Labelling law for supplements from Newtoft
Products you sell from Newtoft must meet the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003, under the oversight of the Food Standards Agency. In Lincolnshire, food labelling is enforced by the local authority’s trading standards or environmental health officers.
One label works across England, Scotland and Wales, because the supplement rules match across Great Britain.
A good first step is our label requirements checklist, and then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.
