Questions from Offord D'Arcy brands
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Offord D'Arcy?
Offord D'Arcy is in England, so the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003 cover your label, together with the general food information rules. Health claims have to come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
Who enforces food labelling in Cambridgeshire?
Food labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Cambridgeshire, overseen nationally by the Food Standards Agency. For advice councils must respect, consider a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We can check for both. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Tell us where you sell and we’ll cover both.
Can you print batch codes and dates?
We can. Our digital press adds a different batch and date to each run, so there’s no need for a coder on short runs.
Do you only work with Offord D'Arcy businesses?
No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so your location doesn’t matter. Offord D'Arcy deliveries go out by tracked delivery to PE19.
