Old Somerby questions
Who enforces food labelling in Lincolnshire?
Food labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Lincolnshire, with national oversight from the Food Standards Agency. For advice councils must respect, you can set up a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Old Somerby?
Old Somerby is in England, so the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003 cover your label, together with the general food information rules. Health claims have to come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
What’s the smallest run you print?
No fixed minimum. Short runs from 250 labels are common for new products, and you can combine several designs in one order.
What label suits a powder tub?
White polypropylene with a laminate. It copes with powder, moisture and handling, and stays put on curved plastic.
How long does delivery to Old Somerby take?
Usually the next working day after dispatch. Printing takes 3 to 5 working days from proof approval, so the majority of Old Somerby orders arrive about a week after you send artwork.
