Questions from Penmaenmawr brands
Do I need to be based in Penmaenmawr to order?
No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so it makes no difference where you’re based. Penmaenmawr orders go out by tracked courier to LL34.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Penmaenmawr?
Penmaenmawr is in Wales, so the Food Supplements (Wales) Regulations 2003 apply, as well as the general food information rules. Health claims have to come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We check against both sets of rules. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Tell us where you sell and we’ll check the label for each market.
Which material is best for a protein tub?
White polypropylene with a laminate. It stands up to powder, moisture and handling, and stays put on curved plastic.
Can you print batch codes and dates?
We can. Our digital press adds a different batch and date to each run, so you don’t need a separate coder for short runs.
