Questions from Pict's Hill brands
Who checks supplement labels in Somerset?
Food labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Somerset, overseen nationally by the Food Standards Agency. For advice councils must respect, consider a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
Is there a minimum order?
No fixed minimum. Many new brands start with 250 labels, and you can combine several designs in one order.
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We check against both sets of rules. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Tell us where you sell and we’ll cover both.
Do you send samples?
Yes. Ask for a sample pack and we’ll send it to you in Pict's Hill, showing our materials and finishes before you order.
What label suits a powder tub?
Laminated white PP. It stands up to powder, moisture and handling, and stays put on curved plastic.
