Porlock Weir questions
Do you only work with Porlock Weir businesses?
No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so it makes no difference where you’re based. Porlock Weir deliveries go out by tracked delivery to TA24.
Who checks supplement labels in Somerset?
Food labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Somerset, overseen nationally by the Food Standards Agency. If you want assured advice, consider a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
Can you print batch codes and dates?
Yes. Our digital press adds a batch code and date to each run, so you don’t need a separate coder for short runs.
When will my labels arrive in Porlock Weir?
Usually the next working day after dispatch. Printing takes 3 to 5 working days after you approve the proof, so most Porlock Weir orders arrive about a week after you send artwork.
What if I sell in Northern Ireland too?
We can check for both. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Let us know where your products go and we’ll check the label for each market.
