FAQs for Prickwillow
Can I see a sample before ordering?
Yes. Request a sample pack and we’ll send it to you in Prickwillow, so you can feel the materials and finishes.
Who checks supplement labels in Cambridgeshire?
Food labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Cambridgeshire, with national oversight from the Food Standards Agency. If you want assured advice, consider a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
When will my labels arrive in Prickwillow?
Usually the next working day after dispatch. Printing takes 3 to 5 working days after you approve the proof, so the majority of Prickwillow orders arrive about a week after you send artwork.
What label suits a powder tub?
White polypropylene with a laminate. It copes with powder, moisture and handling, and stays put on curved plastic.
Can you print batch codes and dates?
Yes. Variable data printing adds a different batch and date to each run, so you don’t need a separate coder for short runs.

Label rules that apply in Prickwillow
Products you sell from Prickwillow must meet the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003, overseen by the Food Standards Agency. In Cambridgeshire, food labelling is enforced by council trading standards or environmental health staff.
The same label can be sold in Scotland and Wales, as Great Britain shares one set of supplement rules.
A good first step is our label requirements checklist, and then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.
