Questions from Redburn brands
Can you print batch codes and dates?
We can. Variable data printing adds a batch code and date to each run, so there’s no need for a coder on short runs.
Who enforces food labelling in Northumberland?
Food labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Northumberland, with national oversight from the Food Standards Agency. For advice councils must respect, consider a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Redburn?
Redburn is in England, so the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003 cover your label, alongside the general food information rules. Health claims must come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
Do you send samples?
Yes, we can. Ask for a sample pack and we’ll post it to your Redburn address, so you can feel the materials and finishes before you order.
When will my labels arrive in Redburn?
Usually the next working day after dispatch. Printing takes 3 to 5 working days after you approve the proof, so most Redburn orders arrive about a week after you send artwork.
