Rules in England
Supplement labelling rules for Renishaw
Supplements sold from Renishaw must meet the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003, overseen by the Food Standards Agency. Locally, food labelling is enforced by council trading standards or environmental health staff.
You can sell the same label in Scotland and Wales, because the supplement rules match across Great Britain.
Start with our label requirements checklist, and then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.

FAQs for Renishaw
What label suits a powder tub?
White polypropylene with a laminate. It copes with powder, moisture and handling, and doesn’t lift on a curved tub.
Do I need to be based in Renishaw to order?
No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so your location doesn’t matter. Renishaw deliveries go by tracked courier to S21.
Is there a minimum order?
There’s no fixed minimum. Many new brands start with 250 labels, and you can combine several designs in one order.
How long does delivery to Renishaw take?
Usually the next working day after dispatch. We print in 3 to 5 working days after you approve the proof, so most Renishaw orders arrive about a week after you send artwork.
Who checks supplement labels in Derbyshire?
Food labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Derbyshire, overseen nationally by the Food Standards Agency. If you want assured advice, consider a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
