Rules in England
Label rules that apply in Roundbush Green
Products you sell from Roundbush Green must meet the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003, under the oversight of the Food Standards Agency. Locally, food labelling is enforced by the local authority’s trading standards or environmental health officers.
One label works across England, Scotland and Wales, because the supplement rules match across Great Britain.
A good first step is our label requirements checklist, then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.

Common questions in Roundbush Green
Do you send samples?
Yes. Ask for a sample pack and we’ll send it to you in Roundbush Green, showing our materials and finishes before you order.
When will my labels arrive in Roundbush Green?
Usually the next working day after dispatch. We print in 3 to 5 working days after you approve the proof, so most Roundbush Green orders arrive about a week after you send artwork.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Roundbush Green?
Roundbush Green is in England, so the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003 cover your label, alongside the general food information rules. Health claims must come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
Which material is best for a protein tub?
Laminated white PP. It copes with powder, moisture and handling, and doesn’t lift on a curved tub.
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We can check for both. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Tell us where you sell and we’ll cover both.
