Questions from Roxburgh brands
Do you send samples?
Yes, we can. Request a sample pack and we’ll post it to your Roxburgh address, so you can feel the materials and finishes before you order.
Do you add batch numbers and best-before dates?
We can. Variable data printing adds a different batch and date to each run, so there’s no need for a coder on short runs.
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We can check for both. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Tell us where you sell and we’ll cover both.
Do you only work with Roxburgh businesses?
No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so your location doesn’t matter. Roxburgh deliveries go by tracked courier to TD5.
How long does delivery to Roxburgh take?
Usually the next working day after dispatch. Printing takes 3 to 5 working days after you approve the proof, so most Roxburgh orders arrive within about a week of sending artwork.
Rules in Scotland
Supplement labelling rules for Roxburgh
Any food supplement sold from Roxburgh must meet the Food Supplements (Scotland) Regulations 2003, regulated nationally by Food Standards Scotland. At a local level, food labelling is enforced by the local authority’s trading standards or environmental health officers for the Scottish Borders.
Scotland has its own food regulator, but the supplement labelling rules match England and Wales, so one label works across Great Britain.
Begin with our label requirements checklist, then review your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.
