Products you sell from Sedgehill must meet the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003, under the oversight of the Food Standards Agency. In Dorset, food labelling is enforced by the local authority’s trading standards or environmental health officers.
You can sell the same label in Scotland and Wales, as Great Britain shares one set of supplement rules.

FAQs for Sedgehill
Can you print batch codes and dates?
Yes. Variable data printing adds a batch code and date to each run, so there’s no need for a coder on short runs.
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We can check for both. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must work for that market. Let us know where your products go and we’ll cover both.
Which material is best for a protein tub?
Laminated white PP. It copes with powder, moisture and handling, and stays put on curved plastic.
Do you send samples?
Yes. Ask for a sample pack and we’ll post it to your Sedgehill address, showing our materials and finishes.
When will my labels arrive in Sedgehill?
Usually the next working day after dispatch. We print in 3 to 5 working days after you approve the proof, so the majority of Sedgehill orders arrive within about a week of sending artwork.
