Rules in England
Label rules that apply in Sevington
Products you sell from Sevington must meet the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003, overseen by the Food Standards Agency. In Kent, food labelling is enforced by council trading standards or environmental health staff.
The same label can be sold in Scotland and Wales, since the supplement rules are the same across Great Britain.
Start with our label requirements checklist, and then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.

Common questions in Sevington
What if I sell in Northern Ireland too?
We can check for both. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must work for that market. Let us know where your products go and we’ll cover both.
How long does delivery to Sevington take?
Usually the next working day after dispatch. We print in 3 to 5 working days after you approve the proof, so the majority of Sevington orders arrive within about a week of sending artwork.
Can you print batch codes and dates?
We can. Variable data printing adds a batch code and date to each run, so there’s no need for a coder on short runs.
What’s the smallest run you print?
No fixed minimum. Many new brands start with 250 labels, and you can mix several designs in one order.
Do I need to be based in Sevington to order?
No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so your location doesn’t matter. Sevington deliveries go out by tracked delivery to TN24.
