Skelton questions
Is there a minimum order?
There’s no fixed minimum. Short runs from 250 labels are common for new products, and you can combine several designs in one order.
Can you print batch codes and dates?
We can. Variable data printing adds a batch code and date to each run, so there’s no need for a coder on short runs.
Do you only work with Skelton businesses?
No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so your location doesn’t matter. Skelton deliveries go by tracked courier to YO30.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Skelton?
Skelton is in England, so the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003 cover your label, alongside the general food information rules. Health claims have to come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
Who enforces food labelling in York?
Supplement labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for York, overseen nationally by the Food Standards Agency. For advice councils must respect, consider a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
