Questions from St Columb Major brands
Can you print batch codes and dates?
Yes. Our digital press adds a batch code and date to each run, so there’s no need for a coder on short runs.
What if I sell in Northern Ireland too?
We check against both sets of rules. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must work for that market. Tell us where you sell and we’ll check the label for each market.
When will my labels arrive in St Columb Major?
Usually the next working day after dispatch. Printing takes 3 to 5 working days from proof approval, so the majority of St Columb Major orders arrive about a week after you send artwork.
Which material is best for a protein tub?
White polypropylene with a laminate. It stands up to powder, moisture and handling, and doesn’t lift on a curved tub.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from St Columb Major?
St Columb Major is in England, so the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003 cover your label, together with the general food information rules. Health claims have to come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
