Label rules that apply in Stiffkey
Any food supplement sold from Stiffkey must meet the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003, under the oversight of the Food Standards Agency. In Norfolk, food labelling is enforced by council trading standards or environmental health staff for Norfolk.
One label works across England, Scotland and Wales, because the supplement rules match across Great Britain.
A good first step is our label requirements checklist, then review your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.

Questions from Stiffkey brands
What if I sell in Northern Ireland too?
We check against both sets of rules. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Let us know where your products go and we’ll cover both.
Can you print batch codes and dates?
Yes. Our digital press adds a batch code and date to each run, so you don’t need a separate coder for short runs.
Do I need to be based in Stiffkey to order?
No. We work online and deliver across the UK, so it makes no difference where you’re based. Stiffkey deliveries go out by tracked delivery to NR23.
What label suits a powder tub?
Laminated white PP. It copes with powder, moisture and handling, and stays put on curved plastic.
What’s the smallest run you print?
No fixed minimum. Small runs from 250 labels are common for new products, and you can mix several designs in one order.
