Supplement labelling rules for Sundayshill
Supplements sold from Sundayshill must meet the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003, under the oversight of the Food Standards Agency. At a local level, food labelling is enforced by the local authority’s trading standards or environmental health officers.
One label works across England, Scotland and Wales, since the supplement rules are the same across Great Britain.
Start with our label requirements checklist, and then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.

Sundayshill questions
Who enforces food labelling in Gloucestershire?
Food labelling is enforced by the local council’s trading standards or environmental health team for Gloucestershire, with national oversight from the Food Standards Agency. For advice councils must respect, you can set up a Primary Authority partnership with a council.
When will my labels arrive in Sundayshill?
Usually the next working day after dispatch. Printing takes 3 to 5 working days after you approve the proof, so most Sundayshill orders arrive about a week after you send artwork.
Can you print batch codes and dates?
Yes. Variable data printing adds a different batch and date to each run, so you don’t need a separate coder for short runs.
Do you send samples?
Yes, we can. Request a sample pack and we’ll post it to your Sundayshill address, so you can feel the materials and finishes before you order.
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We check against both sets of rules. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must work for that market. Let us know where your products go and we’ll cover both.
