Common questions in Surrex
Do I need to be based in Surrex to order?
No. We work online and deliver across the UK, so it makes no difference where you’re based. Surrex deliveries go out by tracked delivery to CO6.
Is there a minimum order?
No fixed minimum. Many new brands start with 250 labels, and you can mix several designs in one order.
What if I sell in Northern Ireland too?
We check against both sets of rules. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Let us know where your products go and we’ll check the label for each market.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Surrex?
Surrex is in England, so the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003 cover your label, alongside the general food information rules. Health claims must come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
Which material is best for a protein tub?
White polypropylene with a laminate. It copes with powder, moisture and handling, and stays put on curved plastic.

Rules in England
Labelling law for supplements from Surrex
Products you sell from Surrex must meet the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003, under the oversight of the Food Standards Agency. At a local level, food labelling is enforced by council trading standards or environmental health staff.
The same label can be sold in Scotland and Wales, because the supplement rules match across Great Britain.
A good first step is our label requirements checklist, and then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.
