Sutton Maddock questions
Do you check labels for Northern Ireland as well as Great Britain?
We check against both sets of rules. Northern Ireland follows EU food law, so claims must come from the EU register and the address must be in NI or the EU. Let us know where your products go and we’ll cover both.
Do you send samples?
Yes, we can. Request a sample pack and we’ll post it to your Sutton Maddock address, so you can feel the materials and finishes.
How long does delivery to Sutton Maddock take?
Usually the next working day after dispatch. We print in 3 to 5 working days after you approve the proof, so most Sutton Maddock orders arrive about a week after you send artwork.
Do I need to be based in Sutton Maddock to order?
No. We work online and deliver across the UK, so your location doesn’t matter. Sutton Maddock deliveries go by tracked courier to TF11.
Do you add batch numbers and best-before dates?
We can. Variable data printing adds a batch code and date to each run, so there’s no need for a coder on short runs.

Label rules that apply in Sutton Maddock
Any food supplement sold from Sutton Maddock must meet the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003, overseen by the Food Standards Agency. Locally, food labelling is enforced by council trading standards or environmental health staff.
The same label can be sold in Scotland and Wales, since the supplement rules are the same across Great Britain.
A good first step is our label requirements checklist, then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.
