Rules in England
Labelling law for supplements from Tardebigge
Products you sell from Tardebigge must meet the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003, under the oversight of the Food Standards Agency. In Worcestershire, food labelling is enforced by the local authority’s trading standards or environmental health officers for Worcestershire.
One label works across England, Scotland and Wales, as Great Britain shares one set of supplement rules.
A good first step is our label requirements checklist, and then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.

Tardebigge questions
When will my labels arrive in Tardebigge?
Usually the next working day after dispatch. We print in 3 to 5 working days after you approve the proof, so the majority of Tardebigge orders arrive within about a week of sending artwork.
Do I need to be based in Tardebigge to order?
No. We take orders online from anywhere in the UK, so your location doesn’t matter. Tardebigge deliveries go by tracked delivery to B60.
What if I sell in Northern Ireland too?
We can check for both. EU food law applies in Northern Ireland, so health claims must be on the EU register and the address must work for that market. Tell us where you sell and we’ll check the label for each market.
What’s the smallest run you print?
No fixed minimum. Many new brands start with 250 labels, and you can combine several designs in one order.
Which labelling rules apply to supplements sold from Tardebigge?
Tardebigge is in England, so the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003 cover your label, as well as the general food information rules. Health claims have to come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
