Rules in England
Label rules that apply in Tetchill
Any food supplement sold from Tetchill must meet the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003, overseen by the Food Standards Agency. In Shropshire, food labelling is enforced by council trading standards or environmental health staff for Shropshire.
One label works across England, Scotland and Wales, since the supplement rules are the same across Great Britain.
A good first step is our label requirements checklist, and then check your health claims, %NRV figures and nutrient guides.

Tetchill questions
Can you print batch codes and dates?
Yes. Our digital press adds a different batch and date to each run, so you don’t need a separate coder for short runs.

Tetchill is in England, so the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003 apply, alongside the general food information rules. Health claims have to come from the GB nutrition and health claims register.
